Chinese Altar Table - 19th Century
Chinese altar table dating from the 19th century. Good solid piece of antique furniture made in the traditional Chinese way. Believe the main part of the table is made from elm - drawers and back are likely to be a different wood. There are two opening drawers with brass fitments. The second level is decoration only. However, the two drawers can be removed, providing a hidden internal space.
Condition: good. No obvious repairs - just wear commensurate with age.
