Circa 1900. Chinese Qing Dynasty Huanghuali circular topped, two-tier plant stand. The pink variegated marble inside a carved frieze with beaded fore-edge and pierced apron with foliate carving and further bead work. Beneath this is a small shelf, and the whole piece rests on four well carved legs with mythical faces on the top, carving on the knees and finishing on a ball and claw foot.
