Chest of Drawers Arts and Crafts Oak Wellington
Here we have a wonderful rare Arts and Crafts Oak Wellington chest of drawers c1880. The chest has great golden Oak colour and patina. The top has a moulded edge and quarter sawn timbers. There are six graduated drawers again with quarter sawn drawer fronts showing off the wonderful medullary rays in the Oak. The drawers retain their original Pugin influenced fine quality brass handles and have solid Mahogany linings and dust beads. The side retains the original lock, key and hinges which opens to release all the drawers. The chest sits a a chamfered edge plinth base. A super chest with a great golden colour and not orange as some of the photos suggest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 22.5 iches wide 16 deep and 49.5 high.
