Restrained Elegance and Loads of Storage, this late Victorian Linen Press typifies the quality and style that made Maple and Co.the most sucessful manufacturer and retailer of antique furniture in the second half of the 19th Century.
The stepped pedestal over two arch panelled and scratch moulded doors enclosing the four original linen slides.All over a useful chest of two short and two slightly graduated full width drawers. Both sections retain all the original brass bolts, handles and locks and the drawer and slide linings are amazingly clean and almost unused solid pale oak.
