This is a charming early 19th century silk embroidery of a young girl selling oysters. The silkwork dates from the Regency period circa 1800 and is well excecuted in bold coloured silk on a silk background cloth.
This is attractively framed in a period burr walnut frame that suits the work.
Th3 frame measures 26 cms by 31 cms overall.
