Nicely proportioned aged chalk painted English Regency two door chiffonier or pier cabinet with aged brass grille doors and vintage crushed velvet linings, circa 1820.
Great decorative piece with some handy adjustable storage and the full width drawer, retaining its original brass fittings too.
The aged paint finish is really lovely and works so well on this narrow cabinet, making it fit so many uses and positions.
Measuring:
36 1/4 inches or 92 cm high
44 1/4 inches or 112.5 cm wide
15 1/4 inches of 38.5 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
