Here we have a very rare large George III Mahogany Gainsborough armchair c1770. As you can see the chair has amazing colour and patina. The frame is a beautiful colour and patina and remarkably large. This is obviously is a commissioned piece due to its proportions. The chair takes typical form and is finished in the finest Chestnut hide. Very comfortable and we have no doubt in claiming this chair is unique. A very desirable and special collectors piece ready for everyday use in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 97 cm high 72 wide 66 cm deep.
