Circa 1880, life size cast brass tabletop lectern in the form of an eagle, modelled with its wings outstretched and perched on a half-hemisphere. The realistically stylised lectern has two types of brass finish, both high and engraved, giving a wonderful two tone effect to the bird.

Size 55cm high x 69cm wide.
