Late 19th.c. carved walnut daybed or chaise longue c.1890. Shapely solid walnut frame with crisp carved and moulded detail to the cresting rail and arms. Padded backrest and sprung seat (height 15″) upholstered in a dark gold velvet. Carved apron and legs to each side meaning it can be positioned with the backrest to either the left or right hand side. Excellent condition, the frame has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops. The upholstery is a little tired perhaps but clean and perfectly serviceable.
