Fabulous late Victorian carved oak box settle c.1900. Useful dimensions, just 16″ front to back, it was probably originally designed as a hall seat. Of unusual design with three crisply carved and fielded panels set within a carved solid oak frame. Shaped arms with turned supports and front feet, panelled base and sides. With lots of useful storage under the lift up seat. Lovely colour and condition, original through.
