Wonderful large carved oak coffer. This lovely coffer comprises of a hinged top over panneled front with two drawers to the base. Floral and scroll carving details and carved initials m h. This is a very heavy, solid coffer, offering copious storage space yet still very decorative. Later replacement hinges, some marks, stains and general wear and tear comensurate with its considerable age which we could fully restore or in our opinion, leave just as it is to preserve its long and interesting history.
