Captains Chair / Smokers Bow
A very clean and tidy smokers bow or Captains chair with a double stretcher rail between the legs for good rigidity. This tub shaped chair has a good grained Elm seat and back with a lovely colour. The chair seat has a bit of a twist in it, personally I find it rather pleasing as it gives the chair lots of character and interest. It is very comfortable to sit in and will go as a desk chair or kitchen chair or where ever it may be needed. The legs and cross stretchers are nicely turned and have a good flowing shape. Not top dollar to buy but as mentioned great condition and colour. A sound useable chair.... Now sold...
