This is an antique morning room elbow chair. An English, mahogany armchair in Chippendale taste, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1770.
Endearing Chippendale taste with generous width and fine craftsmanship
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Select stocks show fine grain interest and deep caramel hues

Top rail accentuated with distinctive 'Chippendale ears' above a fluted back splat
Serpentine arms terminate in rolled knuckles above swan neck supports
