Superb 19th Century camphor wood storage/ blanket box with military style inset handle at the front. The box is a amazing light colour, boasting outstanding graining with decorative brass corners and straps. Secured to the centre of the lid is a brass plate ideal for engraving initials or special date. The interior is very clean and will provide ample storage. These boxes as often used at the base of beds storing extra blanket , pillows etc and perfect for that however recently they have came out of the bedroom into the main room and used as coffee antique tables or window seats. All measurements are done to the widest point .
