Here we have the most outstanding pair of early Victorian Walnut display cabinets c1860. As you can see they have stunning colour and patina. This large pair of cabinets are of exhibition quality and in beautiful original condition. There are half matched beautiful figured Walnut veneers to the top with a crossbanded edge. Below there are stunning ormolu bands with perfect casting. There is a concave moulding again in beautiful figured Walnut with a thin Ormolu band. There is a string inlay to the door surround and Tulip wood cross banding to the door edge. The Tulip wood cross banding is replicated to the side of the front with beautiful Ormolu mounts to the top and bottom. Again the mounts are beautifully cast
and great in detail. The cabinets have the unusual benefit of glass sides enabling natural light into the display area. The sides have replicated decoration as does the base with a shaped bracket frieze Ormolu moulding and mounts. The cabinets have the original working locks and keys and remarkebly all the original and wonderful glass. These are cabinets of the highest quality and completely fresh to the market since they were bought as new. A pair of stunning quality cabinets in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 42.5 inches wide 57 high and 13 deep.
