Burr Walnut Writing Table
A gorgeous Victorian burr walnut writing table with a hinged pen tray containing two inkwells and other compartments. The pen tray has a nice brass gallery set into the inlaid lid. The desk has a nice shaped green leather and gilt tooled top inset into the shaped surround of the desk. Under the desk top are two short drawers with a carved frieze above the knee-hole. The legs are beautifully turned and carved and are a real feature of this piece. Desktop Height 71cm circa 1860
