An unusual writing table, or desk, in the Queen Anne style. Made from walnut with lovely burr walnut veneers. The top section has a series of stationary compartments and a pair of small drawers. The main body of the table has a pair of deep drawings flanking a central long drawers, all fitted with lovely crisp brass handles. The writing surface is fitted with a sumptuous red leather which is decorated with blind tooling of a floral pattern. All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved shell motifs to the knees. This desk is finished to the back so it could be free standing in the center of a room if desired. We have had this desk sympathetically repolished to a very high standard and it is now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office.
