A very good writing table in the Queen Anne style. Made from a good grade of solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. It is of gentle serpentine form and the top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface with gilt tooled decoration. There is an arrangement of one long central drawer, flanked by four shorter drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles. The table stands on elegant cabriole legs with shell carvings to the knees and terminating in ball and claw feet. We have had this writing table sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
