A superb queen Anne style burr walnut serpentine fronted console, or serving, table. Of very good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The serpentine fronted top is surrounded with a crisply carved gadrooned border. There are a pair of drawers, fitted with their original solid brass handles. Standing on long, elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing and united by x-shaped under-stretchers. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
