Butlers Tray Table - Burr Walnut - c1880

This walnut butlers tray table makes a fantastic coffee table and is presented in superb condition.

The tray consists of burr walnut top with raised moulded serpentine edge. When this is in place it is not obvious that the tray is actually separate - the piece just appears as a splendid low table. The tray lifts off to reveal a burr walnut finished under-table. Very useful for presenting morning coffee or afternoon tea in a stylish manner.

The table section stands over splendid cabriole legs with pad foot and displays a serpentine wave to the side skirt.

Overall this piece of antique furniture is in very good order with great depth of colour and excellent burr walnut detailing. An unusual antique which offers terrific interest and huge charm.
