A very handsome burr walnut chest on chest, or tallboy, in the Queen Anne style. Well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top section has a series of two short over 3 long , graduated drawers. The base section has a pull-out brushing slide over a series of 3 long graduated drawers. All are fitted with their original charming brass drop handles. The drawer fronts are all cross banded. This chest has canted corners and the whole thing stands on elegant bracket feet. Sympathetically repolished in our workshops to a very high standard , now with a lovely colour and patina. Offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. Splits into two pieces for ease of installation.
