A lovely bow fronted burr walnut table in the Queen Anne style. Well made in walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The bow-fronted top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather which is decorated with gilt tooling to the edges. There is a pair of drawers whose fronts are cross banded and are fitted with their original brass handles. The table stands well (free from all wobbles) on elegant cabriole legs which have carved shell motifs to their knees and terminate in pad feet. This versatile table could fulfill a number of different roles within the modern home, eg writing table, hall table, lamp table etc. We have had it sympathetically repolished to a very high standard by our craftsmen. It is now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a lovely colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
