Here we have an exceptional George III Oak bureau of small proportions c1780. As you can see this delightful country Oak bureau has wonderful original colour and patina. The top and fall front have super colour and grain with the original working lock and key. The fall front opens to reveal a well fitted interior of Oak lined drawers and a central cupboard. All the drawers have hand cut dovetailed joints. The main drawers also are Oak lined and have hand cut dovetail joints with cockbeaded edges and fantastic brass plate handles. The bureau sits on the original bracket feet. A super period small bureau in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 33 inches wide 41 high and 19 deep.
