A rare pair of cupboards in English oak made by the ex-mining community of Brynmawr ,Wales. The Gwalia works was set up in 1934 to give training and employment to ex-miners,having lost their jobs due to the depression and continued to late 1939, with the outbreak of. WW2.

These cupboards have been restored and wax finished.
Dimension
Height to top flat surface 77cm
Depth 39cm and width 39cm including knobs.

Underside of one cabinet has an original paper label reading
