Smart French brass mounted mahogany seven drawer chest of drawers or semainier c.1840. White marble top with a pierced brass gallery and projecting corners. Over seven drawers with brass mouldings to the fronts and large brass escutcheons. Flanked with column pilasters with inlaid brass flutes, repeated at the rear. Brass moulding to the side panels. Raised on turned and brass mounted feet front and rear. Oak drawer linings, working locks with two keys supplied. Some old repairs to the side panels, generally excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Excellent condition.
