Beautiful mid 19th.c. mahogany marble top console table c.1840. Black marble top over a single drawer with beautifully figured flame mahogany veneered front with an oak leaf pattern ormolu mount. Raised on column front legs with Empire style brass mounts top and bottom. With original mirror plate back panel and raised on a shaped plinth with turned feet. Tarnish to the mirror plate (which could be replaced if preferred), and repairs to the veneers on the plinth. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
