A very decorative satinwood standing corner cabinet. This is bow fronted with a single door which opens to reveal the original shelf. This corner cupboard has a wonderful and completely original rich golden colour which makes it suitable to fit in with several other types of wood. Although this has the appearance of early 19th cent. English, it was probably made in the Beidermeier style in central Europe during the first half of the 19th cent. Sizes: width: 23 ½ “(60cms), wall depth: 17”(43cms), height: 35”(89cms). Date circa 1840. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.

I source my stock through many contacts built up over the years. This continues to consist of carefully chosen high quality 17th 18th and 19th century of furniture, particularly specialising in articles with their own fine original colour and also many interesting smaller items of the same periods.
