Black GPO 706L GPO Bakelite Telephone
This is a very nice black GPO 706L. It has the early plain dial back but the base is not dated. It also has a plastic carry strip between the handset rests. It has been fully restored with and is fitted with a black GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. I have fitted this telephone with an electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards. It is fully working to both dial out and receive perfectly and has its lovely original double gong ringer. It has been tested on a special line simulator to get the dial speed and contact breakers correct. Ready to simply plug in and go. I will make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
