A good quality George II blanket box or silver chest on stand. Constructed from fine figured mahogany with the caddy top having a brass lifting pull and the front with a chased brass escutcheon. The sides retaining the original shaped brass carrying handles.The base section having 2 moulded edge and oak lined drawers which retain their original ring pulls and escutcheons. The chest is raised on short cabriole legs with pointed toes. Condition and colour very good. Dimensions:- Max.Height…36’’/ 91cm. Max.Width…49.25’’/ 125cm. Max.Depth…24.5’’/ 63cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
