19th century bamboo black lacquered writing desk having stage gallery with an arrangement of three short draws. To the large black leather inset writing surface above large central draw flaked by two shorter draws to each side. Having painted birds and floral motif detail. All raised up on splayed bamboo legs united by cross stretchers.
