Aynsley Cup & Saucer In Solid Silver Holder 1934
A beautiful Art Deco period cup and saucer produced by the Aynsley factory and dated to 1934. The cup sits in a solid silver holder which is nicely patterned with open pierced foliage with an elegant curved handle. The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 and shows the makers mark.
The ceramic can and saucer are decorated with hand painted pink and yellow roses held in garlands. The rim is deep blue with gold gilt highlights which extends into the can. There are also further rosea and garlands which adds to the quality of this highly collectible piece.

Excellent with no damage or restorations
