Attractive Victorian Carved Oak Open Bookcase Victorian Carved Birds %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A lovely antique oak bookcase. We date this bookcase to the late 19th century.

The bookcase sits on a plain plinth base and consists of two drawers with lovely carvings of birds on the front over two open fixed shelves.

Below the shelves there is a central small cupboard with a decorative carved door fitted with a lock (key is supplied).

The bookcase has an overall height of 47.5" (121cm), a width of 50" (127cm), a base depth of 12.5" (31cm) and a shelf depth of 10.5” (27cm).

This lovely carved oak bookcase remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage with some minor marks to shelves.

This remains a very stylish and elegant carved oak bookcase which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
