Attractive Large Victorian Rustic Pine Chest
A lovely antique Victorian chest of drawers. We date this chest to the early 19th century.
The chest sits on a plain plinth base. The chest comprises a bank of two short over three long graduated drawers. The drawers are fitted with white and gold porcelain bun handles that have been added at some time in the past. The drawers are fitted with locks (key is supplied).
The drawer fronts and top surface have the original attractive transfer design around the edges.
The chest has a height of 39" (99cm), a width of 42" (107cm) and a depth of 21" (54cm).
This lovely Victorian chest remains in a good solid condition. There is some wear including indented lines and scratches throughout. There is some wear to the handles including a minor crack to one. The transfer also has some minor wear to parts.
This remains a very stylish and elegant Victorian chest which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
