A good quality late 19th century French centre table with drawer. The satinwood and kingwood serpentine shaped top having fine quality marquetry decoration in various exotic woods with a good quality ormolu mounted edge. The serpentine shaped satinwood frieze inlaid with floral marquetry, one side with a drawer which has ormolu escutcheon and working lock and key. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs with applied ormolu mounts to the knees and terminating ormolu sabots. This table is in excellent condition with a good original patina. Dimensions:- Height…29’’/ 74cm. Width…39.25’’/ 100cm. Depth…25.75’’/ 65.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
