Attractive Antique Mahogany Double Bed Frame
A lovely double bed frame. We date this bed to the early 20th century.
The bed comes in four sections, the head and footboards, the metal side rails and a sprung base.
The head and footboard sit on square section legs. The sprung base sits on the side rails.
The headboard and footboard both have a simple curved top.
The headboard has a height of 45" (114cm) and the footboard has a height of 33" (84cm), the height to the top of the metal base is 19” (48cm). The base will support a mattress 75" (191cm) long by 54" (137cm) wide.
This lovely bed remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the bottom rail of the footboard.
This remains a very stylish and elegant bed which will continue to provide sweet repose for many years to come.
