Arts & Crafts Wardrobe c1880-1900

Arts & Crafts Wardrobe
This is a late Victorian Arts & Crafts double wardrobe c1880-1900. It has stunning linay and is raised on small bracket feet with a single drawer to the base. The drawer handles have a very unusual design and are very striking. The door is hinged on the right hand side and has a bevel edge mirror. The lower panels either side of the door have line inlay with boxwood and ebony stringing with the upper panels having a chequer inlay inspired from the Scottish school of inlay so prevalent at this time. The floral inlay to the upper panels are stunning and only seen on the better piece of Arts & Crafts antique furniture. It also has a lovely mellow colour, the main wood is mahogany. We are Mews Antiques based in Worcestershire, WR9 8NN. On larger items we offer free delivery within 100 miles of this postcode which includes the London diaspora. On smaller items we ship using interlink express. Please ring us about any item you have questions on
