ARTS & CRAFTS OAK SCOTTISH SCHOOL WARDROBE & DRESSING TABLE c1880-1900.

This is a great matching pair of Arts & Crafts oak Scottish school wardrobe and dressing chest. The wardrobe is raised on bracket feet with a lovely light oak finish with central bevel edge mirror and stained glass to each side. The tope cornice is wide and flat following the Glagow school influence with bracket mouldings supporting it.

The dressing chest is also raised on bracket feet with graduated drawers with simple design of support for the bevel edge mirror and wide flat cornice to the top of the mirror following the Glasgow four designs.
