Arts & Crafts Rotating Cake Tea Stand c1910

A wonderful and somewhat unusual Arts and Crafts mahogany tea or cake stand, dating to circa 1910. The frame contains a spoked double wheel that suspends four copper trays for holding the cakes - or perhaps cucumber sandwiches! As the wheel is revolved so the different selections are revealed. Rather like a Ferris Wheel but on a somewhat smaller scale. The copper trays have riveted suspension handles and scalloped rims and are of good quality. I have certainly never seen another one similar. It is a great design and is in good condition, overall. There are a few small marks on the trays and slight markings to the supports, but all are commensurate with age. It measures 93cm high, 41cm wide and 39cm deep, with each tray 21.5cm across.

You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.
The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.
