A very useful Arts & Crafts solid oak hall stand with robe cupboard. Overhanging top with shaped side supports, with a full length panelled cupboard featuring an inverted heart design to the front, original brass door handle and anodised copper panel. The interior has coat hooks and storage shelf above. The exterior has five matching original coat hooks, original shaped bevelled edge mirror plate, small shelf with cut-out support over a division stick stand with original drip trays, and stands on pad feet.

In good condition.

The latch to the panelled door no longer works, so a new brass ball catch has been fitted.
The exterior panelled side shows signs of two missing hooks which can be seen on the image showing the side view.

I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
