This is an Arts & Crafts Victorian oak wardrobe c1890-1910. It is of classically simple proportions following the Arts and Crafts principles. It has a draw to the base with central bevel edge mirrored door. It is raised on a bracket base with ogee moulding to the base plith and drawers and fielded panels either side of the main door. It is very solid and heavy with even the backing panels being of solid oak. It comes in three main sections the drawers section to the bottom, the main carcas and the upper cornices removes. We also removed the door for moving and fitting as it is the single heaviest piece being of plate mirror glass and very heavy. It has its original hanging rail going across and rear hangers at the back as well. It comes with its original key and handles.
