Comprising an extendable table, two carvers and four side chairs, this Arts & Crafts dining suite was originally retailed by James Shoolbred & Co. The oak is dark stained and well-figured throughout and the chairs have drop-in seats. The extendable table has a winding mechanism, a moulded top with rounded edges and fluted tapering legs that end in brass castors. The sturdy chairs have a simple design with beautiful and unusual carving to the central back splat. All six chairs fit around the table when unextended and it can accommodate eight when fully open.

The carvers measure 96cm high and 56.5cm wide and the side chairs are 96cm high and 44cm wide. The seats are 45.5cm off the ground.

The table is 180cm long, or 127cm with the central leaf removed, 120cm wide and 75cm high.

The side chairs are 98.5cm high and 43cm wide. The top of the seats are 46cm off the ground.

In very good condition throughout. The table top is in excellent order without scratches or stains and the legs have only a few minor knocks. The chairs are all solid with various areas of natural wear to the stain.
