A lovely late 19th/early 20th century Arts and Crafts iron or steel table casket with textured surface, the corners and hinge beautifully made with shaped cut-outs and attached using hand-made studs.
The top is applied with a rather marvellous looking sea creature, very much in the Newlyn manner, and the interior is wood lined.
In good antique condition with surface wear commensurate with age and handling. The underside has the remains of an old felt covering.
It measures 14 x 10 x 5 cm and weighs 430 grams.
