For sale today we have this absolutely stunning Arts and Crafts figure of St George by the Compton Pottery. To a design by Mary Seton Watts he stands clad in full plate armour with a longsword in his right hand and red cross emblazoned shield in the other, head bowed slightly in humility. Superbly coloured with great definition to the casting this is an exceptional example in excellent condition with just slight wear to the unfired tempera glaze.

Stands 8 1/2" tall and bears the Compton "Potters Art Guild" circular stamp to the base.
