A very stylish Art Deco side cabinet in figured walnut dating from circa 1940s. Of stepped form, the left hand cupboard with fall next to an open bookcase, above sliding twin glass doors enclosing a shelf next to four drawers, on shaped bracket feet. The fall front drops down on arms to reveal pigeon holes and a small drawer to the interior. With original handles and escutcheons, the bureau section locks and come with working key. In good condition with good colour and original warm patina, a really fun statement piece. With label to back “Rurka”.

Walnut. Mixture of solid walnut and plywood

Good condition. Good colour and original warm patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Key works. A few small chips to the veneer near edges.
