Art Deco Walnut Bedside Cabinet
A charming small walnut Art Deco bedside cabinet dating from circa 1940s. It has a rounded top, above a single door cupboard with original brass round handle and stands on a plinth base. In a wonderful blonde walnut veneer the door opens and closes on brass hinges and it has a brass latch to keep it closed. Internally it has a single fixed height shelf. A very stylish and versatile piece that would work equally well as next to a desk or as lamp table as it would a bedside cabinet. The back is stamped with the “two cheese” marks the logo for the Utility Furniture Advisory Committee of 1942.
