A lovely Art Deco wardrobe. We date this wardrobe to the 1930s.

The wardrobe sits on a base with four Queen Anne legs.

The front of the wardrobe has rounded corners at the top with attractive carvings. There are two side hinged doors with rounded carved corners at the top. The doors are fitted with lovely ornate horizontal wooden handles. The right hand door is fitted with a lock (key supplied), the left hand door has top and bottom catches.

The left hand side of the interior is fitted with a pull out front to back hanging rail, four single hooks and a shoe rail to the rear of the base, there is a small rail to the rear of the left hand door. The right hand side has three removable shelves over a trouser rail.

The wardrobe has a height of 67.5" (173cm), a width of 35" (89cm) and a depth of 19" (49cm).

The hanging area is 18.5” (47cm) wide and the pull out rail is 13” (33cm) long.

This lovely wardrobe remains in good condition with some minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few indentations to some edges and surfaces, the right hand door has a little bit of veneer missing at the bottom edge. The trouser rail has one rail missing.

This remains a very stylish and elegant wardrobe which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
