Set of Six of Bentwood Cafe Chairs - Thonet Art Deco Classic - c1925
This set of six chairs are originals by Thonet and in great order and a lovely colour.
They offer solid seating and offer excellent classic Art Deco period style and charm.
The classic 'bentwood' Thonet design is evident and the chairs bear the original labels. The chairs benefit from a double hoop back and are comfortable in use.
They feature a round seat top with gorgeous formed impression displaying a peacocks tail design. The seats offer a good size seat base diameter of 38cm (15").
With a seat height of 47cm (18.5") the chairs are very appropriate for modern living and the time tested construction ensures that the set will stand the rigours of daily use.
Overall an excellent set of chairs which will make a lovely addition to any setting. Classic design and great function.
