Art Deco Oak Photo Frame, c.1930s
A distinctively Art Deco oak photo frame from the 1930s. The frame has a broad base with rounded corners and a flat back. The supports are classic "odeon" style fan shapes which place you instantly in the Art Deco era.
There is a single pane of glass and a firm card support which will hold a picture up to a maximum of 5" x 3.5" / 12.5cm x 9cm. The base is 8.25" / 21cm wide and 2" / 5.3cm deep. It stands 6" / 15cm high to the top of the glass.
The frame has definitely seen some use but remains in good condition with no splits or chips in the wood. The wood itself has a deep colour and lovely patina after many years of cleaning and polishing. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
