Art Deco Oak Photo Frame, c.1930s
A very stylish Art Deco oak photo frame from the 1930s. The frame has a broad sculpted base with rounded corners and a flat back. The supports are carved into three shapes: a flat top, a pointed top and a curved top, which frame the photograph really nicely.
There are two panes of glass which will hold a picture up to a maximum of 5.5" x 3.5" / 14cm x 9cm. The base is 8.25" / 21cm wide and 2.8" / 7.3cm deep. It stands 6.4" / 16cm high to the top of the glass.
The frame has definitely seen some use but remains in good condition with no splits or chips in the wood. The wood itself has a deep colour and lovely patina after many years of cleaning and polishing. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
