Art Deco Myott-goldscheider Lady Box
This stylish ceramic box was produced in the late 1930’s by Myott and Sons in collaboration with the Austrian firm of Goldscheider . This box has a finial which is moulded in the shape of a girl’s head and measures 6” Long x 3 ½ “ High x 4” Wide.
Myott and Goldsheider produced ceramic figures and face masks, but this is the first example I have seen of a trinket or cigarette box in this style.
The item is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or restoration
